RAVENMARK: Scourge of Estellion App Reviews

Great gameplay, great story and nice and long. For the game player looking for something to occupy them alongside Final Fantasy Tactics and XCOM. Looks simple, plays complex, with a nice detailed fantasy world setting with some nice original choices. Highly recommend.

Ive had this game for nearly five years now, and it still never ceases to disappoint me. Its a great strategical game, in similar vein to Fire Emblem or Xcom. The story is beautiful, full and all the characters are fully fleshed out and developed. For an IOS game, this is a shocking surprise.

Yes, its turn based. No, its not comparable to XCom. Its tedious, the constant swipe screens are really bad. If this was a $4.99 game I wouldnt complain. At 10.00, its a problem.

Pros: •Excellent artwork and music. •Interesting lore and ever-growing "Ravenmark" universe. •Advance Wars-esque battles. Cons: •The turn-based system is in unit numerical order, meaning that instead of you taking your turn and then the AI taking theirs, every unit takes turns depending on what number is assigned to them. Its really the only reason I stopped playing.
